The name bridges the modern with the traditional: The Zulu word ‘ikhaya’ means ‘my home’ and the ‘e’ - symbol for Internet (cyber space). eKaya WEB Services provides the webbing structure in which various types of ‘homes’ (web sites) can be constructed and linked to provide for owners’ various needs.

Our focus:
eKaya WEB Services (eKayaWEB.com & eKayaDIY.com) originated from the realization that many South Africans would like to own a web site but doesn’t feel up to the perceived high cost and perceived dangers of owning a web-home.
Our focus is therefore on the amateur or novice individual or small business/ club/ organization that would like to enter this much needed marketing opportunity, but typically would be a bit scared and uncertain to enter this sometimes unfriendly and dangerous neighbourhood. We would like to introduce you gradually to this new neighbourhood and help you to gain confidence and ease and how to be careful and alert to some of the neighbourhood dangers.
